1. Acceptance of terms

By using kyte., you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service description

kyte. is a campus delivery service operating at UC San Diego. We connect customers with student runners who purchase and deliver items from on-campus stores and dining locations.

3. Eligibility

You must be a current UC San Diego student, faculty, or staff member to use kyte. Delivery is limited to meetpoints within the UCSD campus boundary.

4. Orders and payment

All prices are estimates. Final charges may differ slightly based on actual product costs. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Delivery credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Orders may be canceled before a runner is assigned. Refunds are issued as delivery credit to your kyte. account. We do not process cash or card refunds except in exceptional circumstances.

6. Runner conduct

Runners are independent student operators. kyte. sets conduct standards and may suspend or remove runners who violate these standards. kyte. is not liable for runner conduct beyond reasonable operational expectations.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use kyte. to order items that are illegal, age-restricted (e.g. alcohol, tobacco), or otherwise not available through normal campus store channels. Attempts to defraud the service may result in permanent account suspension.

8. Limitation of liability

kyte. is provided as-is. We are not liable for delays, unavailable items, or errors beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the affected order.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of kyte. after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
